Much of it goes through private property. There is also a lack of political will. Hold 2007's congressional sessions in Texas and we'd see a diffrence.

The same senators who voted for the wall, just voted to not provide any funds for building the wall. This is mostly a block vote effort by the democrats. Be sure to let them know the consequences of that this september.

Because Illegals and the pro groups who would like to delay it as much as possible keep whining, and the fact the government won't do it unless pressured.
I want the wall soon, and a militarized border so people will reconsider crossing into our country and leeching off it. I don't want my country getting anymore screwed up because of illegals.

Well, I think you'll all just have to face the fact that it is not going to happen. Do you all actually know all the chaos that a wall would cause if it were to really ever happen? We would be living in a situation a lot worse that now.

the government would like to spend money on more important things than build a stupid wall that will later be torn down
