I had a boyfriend who's surname was Dopson, it would have sounded ridiculous with my first name so I am glad I did not go ahead with that one.

Not a funny last name. Her maiden name was Iva Loveless and she married Dick Darling. We would tease her and ask her how it felt to go from being loveless to being Dicky's Darling!
