while it sounds like a good idea it will come around and bite us back. I think we should turn our freedoms loose on their country by putting our retail giants in there and providing them protection to do it. Walmart could build a few super centers and McDonalds could start up over there...etc.... put up billboards that advertise the things that we take for granite over here everyday. Show the children what it means to "play" with real toys. When my husband was over there "they" went through a village where the children were using a human head as a soccer ball. Run away consumerism at its best.

That won't solve any problems. It would just make the world hate the US more than it already does. Not to mention it would kill millions of innocent people (women, children, babies). We have no right to kill any of those people. How would you feel if some country came in a bombed a children's hospital?

Err...that wouldn't accomplish anything. Actually, if we did something that drastic, it would come back to bite us in the butt. Domestic terrorism would increase exponentially, and the UN would probably destroy us (Russia, China, India, all have nukes too ya know).
So you're nationalistic pride is a bit out of sync, nice try Hitler-wannabe.

No. An attempt to do that would bring the rest of the world into a war against us (out of fear they are next) and we would be destroyed as a power. And with the possibility of nukes involved, we may be destroyed as a people as well.

Yeah, because the best way to deal with problems is to just blow everything up.
In case it wasn't obvious, that was sarcasm.

I would agree except it is stupid. It's only a small per cent of radicals that are causing all the problems.

No, because there are many innocent people already suffering and they don't desreve this war no more than they deserve to die in it.
