My cat usually lives in my room, or in the basement because he is so out of control with his bathroom habits. (In my room he actually USES his litter box) He hasbeen getting better with it lately, so I let him out to roam in the house. Well, my question is, he has always been a little aggresive, but now he is free to roam, he has acted like he is crazy. He won't let anyone touch him, or pet him, and hisses at everything...what could be the problem? It only started because I let him out!

You've increased his ''territory'', and he is trying to claim it all. That is one suggestion.

give him some time to adjust this is a big change for a cat
also leave the door to your room open so he can retun to familiar suroundings .it will take a few weeks for him to get used to his new space and other people around him

You may want to take him to your vet to see if something has happened that you may not see, just to be on the safe side. Cats can hurt themselves and not show any indication other than agressive behavior. Good luck.

They make a product called feliway...sold at most pet stores and it calms cats down...heres a link to it so you can see what I'm talking about...they make it in a spray and kinda like a plug in version...you cant smell it but your cat can.

all animals are clairvoyant. so i wonder have you had any bad dreams lately? or just give your cat a laxative. or take it to the vet and have it checked ouy. and also give your cat all of its shots / so you will be safe . and not have to worry about rabies.

he might be really scared of his surroundings. if you have other pets, he might not want to be social. Will you call a local vet and ask them if there is anything you could do? They might give free advice.
