Could God's greatest deceit be convincing us he does exist?

Just a little Gedankenexperiment.

First; Satan's greatest deceit is convincing us we know anything and/or we deserve "rights."

Second; the God aspect you tried creates circular "unreasoning."

Somethings exist, as nothing. Like the number zero. And a crack in the sidewalk. Outer space, etc.

When you are speaking of life, and love, the devil is a hole, where life and love should be. Some people are totally devoid of compassion. Some people can't understand that other people feel pain. The can't experience love, and are mistified by charity.

His deceit, is convincing people he cares...

If the devil convinced us he doesnt exist then isnt he doing himself a disservice? And God doesnt have to trick us into believing there is a devil just look around. I think the Bible attempts to get us to attach the crimes of humanity to the devil and if that's God's deceit then so be it.

no. God does not deceive. He Himself says that it is a sin to deceive. The devil's greatest deceit is trying to convince us that God does not exist. Not that he himself doesn't exist.

Interesting logic but then God would be guilty of trying to convince us of a fact because how could He convince you of anything if He didn't exist?

Maybe the tooth fairy exists too. Maybe the aliens don't. It's all man-made fables, like all societies and cultures have their own creationist stories, their own heroes, their own Gods, their own demons. God and the Devil are those mythological entities still pervasive in western/Christian culture. Most likely, neither exists.

If you were the Devil, how would you convince people that you don't exist? I would probably do it in the most easy way ever: come to earth, call myself Jesus Christ, make people believe i'm the son of God, have myself killed by them, and have them believe that all is about Love.

About your question, i dunno. I know that God is at least doing a lousy job of trying to convince ur that He/She exists.

He exists but don't worry about the devil. You can only be deceived if you allow it. Focus on God and put your trust in Him. Too many people give credit to the devil. God and His Righteousness should be what you seek. God BLess.
