I find that by listening it I'm more interested in it and thus grasp more,as well as finish hearing every chapter of God's Word.

Assuming that the text has not been altered in any way then I would assume that it is exactly the same. some people are audio learners and some, like myself, are visual learners. As long as th material is absorbed and learned then there is no difference between the two styles.

I dont see what the difference would be, I mean if we think about why the audio Bible was created was for blind people, or people who cannot read. It might make memorising which verses are which a little bit harder because you wouldnt be able to tell where vs 10 stopped and vs 11 started. On the other hand sometimes hearing something repeatedly helps too.
I would personally love an audio Bible, but they are quite expensive, so I will just stick to reading for now.
The way i see it as long as God is speaking to you through it, its all good, keep with it;)

It funny, but you learn a different way when you listen to the bible.
You learn points you miss when you read it, and when you listen, you learn more chapters than regular reading. Your eyes don't get distracted, and its almost like someone read a different book. It motivates me to research a subject more, which will cause me to read it without listening.

So, hearing the bible, makes me read the bible more.

Reading the bible has its advantages. Learning where in the bible a verse is great, when you need to refer to it.

If you're getting something out of it, it can be better. If you read the Bible and you're just bored and not paying attention, what's the point? If you listen to it and benefit, I'd say why not?

Does it come with sound effects in the background like bolts of lightning and rivers rushing? That'd help me a lot I think.

Or intermittently it could have that 'beep' that told you to change slides if you were the kid in the classroom that always got stuck changing slides for the primitive 'multimedia' lessons...
