Venomous snakes include the cobra family, rattlesnake family, coral snake, copperhead, cottonmouth, fer-de-lance, death adder, puff adder, krait, black mamba, green mamba, common brown, fierce snake (the most venomous snake on earth), tiger snake, taipan...
Non-venomous snakes include the corn snake, garter snake, king snake, python family, boa family, anaconda, whip snake, grass snake, egg-eating snake...
Well, technically, the Western garter snake is venomous but it's rear-fanged and the venom is very mild -- significantly less than a bee sting. You can be bitten by a garter snake without being envenomated, and even if you are, it stings and hurts for a few days but won't produce any lasting harm.
Venomous lizards are easier to list, as there are only three species: the Mexican beaded lizard and the Gila monster (both species of the genus heloderma), and a rare variety of iguana that has just been identified within the last year or so in, I believe, Costa Rica. The common iguana you can buy at pet shops is NOT venomous. The Komodo dragon (largest of the monitor, or varanid, family) is also not venomous, but its saliva contains bacteria which produce toxins in the blood of its victims, so after it bites a victim, the bacterial infection will kill it in a few days.
