As an ex music teacher, I know that schools always need instruments, so there is my first answer.
My second is -- if it says 'Martin' or 'Gibson' on it, donate it to me !!

The Salvation Army, the VA, or The Edge's charity for New Orleans musicians who lost their instruments. Or a local school, where many kids are poor.

I would try a local school for the music department-- that way many students can enjoy it and not just one person

There are a lot of places. try hunting for some troubled teens , who are in correction ranches or homes, they would love it. Your local law offices could advise you.

I would be glad to take it off your hands. I can't afford one but have wanted to get one for years and learn.
