My sisters and I were dragged all over Europe as kids. Depending on your age, it could be really fun and something you'll remember forever. If you're a teenager, you could have a great time seeing the sights, checking out the shops, and learning about neat cultures. For say, 6-10 year olds, sight-seeing may not be the most fun part of the trip, but there are parks everywhere where you can play and run around. England (London) is kind of rainy sometimes, but the summers are usually nice. While in Italy, make sure you try the gelato! It's Italian ice cream and way better than American. Way creamer and way delicious. Germany has lots of mountains and pretty views, which makes it a great place to practice your photography skills. Paris is kind of swanky, city life, so have fun eating in chic cafes and window shopping some of the most expensive and fashionable stores in the world. The key is to keep a good attitude and look on the bright side of everything that happens: it'll be a great story to tell later!

If you want to contact me about anything or anywhere specific you're going, feel free and I'll try my best!

Italy and France have warm beaches (topless all). France has the famous Riviera, Italy has its own Riviera but the nicer beach area there is the Amalfi Coast. On the beach, you have a lot of European families vacationing, and it practically never rains in the summer. I don't know Germany but I do know London, Paris, and Rome. It really depends on your kids. Most European cities are not that kid-friendly compared to the US. The cafes and restaurants and hotels are tight, people smoke, and they don't tolerate loud talk, a typical - perhaps you'll think I'm stereotyping - American trait. But if you don't mind your kids eating late, dinner time is not before nine, and then walking late into squares in the towns, they'll experience a different life. One warning: Most European cities are practically shut down in August, because the "locals" take a month long vacation. London does not, but it is mostly populated with tourists.

Europe is a great place for a family vacation and Italy and Paris have some of the best beaches in the world. Be prepared, because most of them are topless. Europeans aren't as uptight as Americans about nudity, but you might have to field questions from the kids aobut this. To find out more about European vacations, check out the website below.
