Experiment with your Avatar before you dye your hair. If your skin tone is close then this should give you an idea of what would look good and what would look silly.

It'd probably be best if you stick with darker shades. You could try going for a dark auburn red or even burgundy, but if you decide to use a red shade remember that red fades fast so you'll want to wash it in cool water with special red shampoos. You could even try going for a slightly lighter shade of brown with some caramel highlights, that would look really pretty & would probably look nice on you

I have a lot of red in my skin too and I have to stick with dark colours. Otherwise my face looks like a brick! Try a strong burgundy red or cherry red, that could be really flattering.

I have a similar complexion and a few years back I frosted my hair and added very bright red highlights. Unfortunately I couldn't have it for work, but it looked fabulous! try pillar box red from manic panic

just add highlights, it will brighten you up and its a change in itself. you can buy your own highlights for less than $15 or go to hairdresser for about $60 and up
