im also black so dark brown and colors like that wont work on my hair. No offense to any one out there!!!!!!!

well u kno wat i think dark brown will look great on u! and u should get light brown highlights with them...that will look super cute* on u! and i kno ull look beautiful with it....and dont b so mad abou ur hair...i kno theres a color for u out there..and ull find it..LOL...but i think that wil look cute*..GOOD LUCK*

regular hair color can not lift black, so you'd have to have your hair color lifted first, I'd sugest getting highlights. Maybe even dying it a soft brown with caramel hightlights. Be sure to deep condition your hair often after you've had it treated especially if you have it lifted.
Red highlights look really pretty in dark/black hair. You could always go with that as well. Or even do red & caramel highlights.

I would not recommend dying black hair, but definitely highlights. Your beautician could help you with a choice of color for highlights, but do go with 2 colors for your highlights not 1 (it looks more natural) :)

try the clariol lightener and devolper which will help with lightening ur hair or streeks and then u can put a rinse like jazzie, adore or semi permanent color hope this helps

if ur dark skined u should color it a color that is a little bright so that u could bring out ur face and be noticed !!!! i do it all the time and it looks great on me!!!

I think you should just die the ends but you should use bright colors. go crazi if u have to.=). ive seen people with red tips at the ends blue sometimes too.

I think it depends on your personality - if you are an out-going, happy go lucky person, you could go blond, reddish, or go brown with lighter streaks.
