If you feel you are fine then leave them alone. Why risk having a complication for an optional procedure.

Ask your dentist why he or she feels this way. If the tooth that is crooked in the back is hindering your bite then you should get braces. Braces aren't just about cosmetics. If you're very young there's a good chance that crooked tooth may mess up the rest of your teeth over time. If you don't need very much done, it may not even be $6000. Call some orthodontists and get a consultation.

The crooked tooth in the back is going to continue to grow crooked and it's eventually going to start pushing all your front teeth together and crowd them. That's why you need braces. Dentists go to school for 8 years; they know what they're talking about.

If your front teeth are fine then why bother? It wont hurt you to have a tooth out of place in the back, and it's certainly not worth wasting $6000 for 1 crooked tooth. I think your denist is trying to rip you off to be honest.

Definetly not!! I had the same problem my front teeth look fine but my parents made me get them. The orthodonist just wants your money. The stupid @^*& orthodonist makes up a bunch of bull so you'll end up having the braces on for about 3 years.
Don't get sucked in!!!

You teeth move all the time. If the back tooth is crowded or moving, eventually it would cause your front teeth to possibly move.

I definitely wouldn't. Besides, perfect teeth are boring, teeth that aren't 'perfect' add character!
