Yes, I have visited and lived in Denver. It's another big city. It has many people there that have moved there from somewhere else, not alot of locals. When I was there I met so many people who had just moved there. It is a growing city. Be careful of the surrounding areas Aurora inpaticular as it if full of gangs, and nobody wants to go there at all. I'm sure it's worse now. Find out which areas are gang filled and don't venture there.
I lived in several places in Colorado and I always loved the weather, it would snow, and then melt the same day. You would get all the seasons there. I also lived in the ski resorts. Most of Colorado is expensive, as people love the beauty, the aspens, so where ever it's beautiful it's expensive.

Yes! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

While there are lots of things to see and do in the Denver area, some of the best are just outside of Denver. Here are some recommendations:

- You HAVE to visit Red Rocks park. If at all possible, try to attend a concert there. Otherwise, at least visit it jus to see the ampitheater!

- Idaho Springs is a wonderful little town to visit! You'll need to visit the Hot Springs there! There's also a great mining museum there. You can also take the Mt. Evans Scenic Highway just south of town, where you can drive to the very top of Mt. Evans! At over 14,000 feet, it's the highest paved road in the U.S.!

- After visiting Idaho Springs, you might want to also check into Central City or Blackhawk, if you like an old mountain town experience with newly built casinos. Or, you may want to visit Georgetown for a more family-friendly experience!

- Golden had the Coors Brewing plant, but is also known for Lookout Mountain. On the top of Lookout Mountin is Buffalo Bill's grave and museum! That is alot of fun, and it is so worth it just for the panoramic view of the Denver area!

- Take a little daytrip from Boulder, CO to Estes Park, CO along U.S. Highway 36 (about an hour drive). Estes Park area is a GORGEOUS area to visit! Better yet, spend the night in Estes Park, and spend a second day visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, which sits next to Estes Park!

Those are just a few small ideas!

i'm a fifth technology Colorado interior sight. and that i stay interior the Denver Metro section (even if the subsequent community over is interior Denver city limits.) I easily love residing right here! at present I spend the afternoon kayaking. gazing the sand pipers alongside the shorelines, and ducks and ducks out on the water, with wild plant life and sparkling mountain refections! The park's in basic terms minutes from my domicile. What more suitable ought to you ask for? Lodo (decrease Downtown Denver) is impressive to loiter round in, with shops & artwork galleries and restaraunts & golf equipment. inspite of you favor. And throughout Denver there are large tiny neighborhoods you need to spend the day in. that is the superb city interior the international, and that i could not imagine residing everywhere else!

yes, i live about an hour away from there and have been there many times. it is pretty cool if you like city places, but be careful to lock your cars and stuff because some areas are really full of crime. there are tons of theaters and stores, if you like cities, this is definatly a place to go. there are also a lot of pretty views of the mountains that are worth your time.
