From a guy who's been there...don't listen to what these women are saying. Think about the signals you send when you give a woman a rose on a first date. You actually send the needy/desperate signal which is a huge turnoff. You CANNOT create attraction using romance. You can only enhance attraction using it. So, when you hand her the rose you'll hope she'll think you're the sweetest and most caring guy ever. However, all you're really trying to do is manipulate her into liking you by giving her this flower. You can't obviously care about someone you've never dated before, so why give them a gift?

Typically, what I do on a first date is have the woman meet me somewhere like a coffee shop. I do pay for her coffee, but that's it. I don't take her anywhere else afterwards and make sure she knows I'm judging her. Too many guys focus on making the woman like them, rather than focusing on if they like her. Don't do that, it's stupid. If you want to secure a second date for sure do this... Pack a picnic and pick her up and take her to a nearby park where you two will have your privacy. Lay down a blanket and just eat and talk. There will be no distractions and you'll show her that you're different than other guys, this is a huge turn on. Any woman can get a flower from a guy on a first date, it's boring. Give them something that no other guy has and you'll be golden.

Lastly, give flowers on a rare occasion, they mean more that way. For instance, one guy gives a woman a rose every time he sees her. Another guy gives his woman her favorite flower in her favorite color every 4th time. The 2nd guy will be more romantic because the woman doesn't expect it as much. Romance isn't meant to be smothered onto someone, it's supposed to be used carefully so it's more meaningful.

Lastly, make the woman chase you instead of you chasing her. You're the prize, remember that. It's obvious you're a really good guy because you're thinking of giving flowers and everything...just don't do it on a first date. This isn't a damn movie, it's life.

First date not a bouquet but maybe just a flower or two and a rose would be good because girls love roses and remember to not be that fancy if its a first date so I would say yeah just a single rose would be cute

yes but maybe do something a bit different...maybe an iris or orchid...not too expensive because one does the trick. One flower by its self is sometimes more beautiful than many, especially when you are working with an exotic flower.
If you're going to do a rose, make sure you take off the thorns!!

Flowers are always appreciated by girls. A single flower will do. The kind is up to you: a rose, a daisy, etc. Just make sure it is not wrapped in plastic (like from the grocery story)--place a bow around it instead. Have fun!

Well you know t doesn't really matter..i mean if the girl likes you she won't even care of what you get her ;)
And since it's a 1st date just keep it simple..so i'd go with o flowers anyway.
Take crae.

sure go ahead, but i wouldn't go with a dozen, maybe just one red rose, she'll think its sweet...if you go with a dozen she'll think you're just trying to impress her and sometimes that seems like you're coming on a little too strong
