What do you think of Islam?

I think it's the best way I could live my life and I praise and thank God everyday for guiding me to Islam. I live a balanced life, serve my family and community, and abstain from things that could harm myself, family, and community.

You should have asked what I think of non-Muslims. I have no problem with Non-Muslim as I love those who love peace, harmony, and justice. Some though are a bunch of bigoted, close-minded, intolerant, hypocrites, that clearly suffer from Islamophobia. You would agree as well, just read the posts above mine.

Islam mean peace. islam teach a person how to live his or her life on right path do the right thing. islam is the way of life. but some of people have taken it wrong & did something so bad that they have disgraced the teach of islam. islam teach to love people & respected all the human being & animals.
My friends if u ever go in details of islam u will find, what islam is & has tried to give the world. but if u wanted to find fault in it for the mistakes of other then no one can u from misunderstanding about islam.

WELL, since it's my religion, and even if it wasn't for some odd reason, I love it! You are extremely attached to God, you pray five times a day, and I don't mean ask for things like praying, or some people call that praying, but I mean thanking God for what you have in your life and everything. Islam keeps girls safe, by telling them to cover themselves up, and staying a virgin till marriage, and giving them tons of rights. And the men are supposed to respect the women and their rights (some men don't, which is obviously a sin), and protect their family. Shell doesn't know what the heck she is talking about! And it wasn't only her, but a bunch of others, but she, in my opinion, was the WORST! She is insulting people who follow Islam and who follow it the right way, saying that every Muslim in the world is blowing themselves up! Yeah, the little 4 year old girl right next to me is strapping a bomb on to herslef, how do you like that, is that what you want to hear?

I am very happy that I discoverd and converted to Islam when I was 15 years old! A school project led to my research and I couldn't stop reading! Islam encourages it's followers to seek knowledge - and hopefully that's what folks here on Yahoo Answers are doing!

Islam is the true religion of the one and only God since Adam till the last day, and Mohammad was the final messenger to all humans every where till the last day. This final message speaks for it self as it is recognized by being authentic, documented, preserved, and evidence-based. It is the choice of smart people who care for themselves. I will post links for people who converted from Christianity to Islam and started to serve Islam, I challenge every one to post a link for a Muslim who converted to Christianity and started to serve it. If you can't meet the challenge think then why is that?

Islam is the religion of forgiveness and faith. It demands people to do things that benefit them and other people, and to avoid things that are harmful for them. It is the religion in which there is no discrimination between people according to their color or ethnicity, but according to their deeds. Also, muslims believe in all other religions, and in other prophets, such as the Christ, and Moses. In summary, Islam is very amazing since it allows people to do the right things, and to avoid bad things.

Religion of Violence and Deception. The deceptions of Islam are so clear and so well known to the Muslims themselves, it suprises me how little they realize what they're following.

How do you explain following a religion which claims to honor women, yet relegates them to the lowest status in society?

How do you explain following a religion which claims to be the Religion of Peace, yet has started EVERY war it has ever been involved in?
Are you aware of what Muhammad did to the Jews of Medina after the Battle of the Trench? Do you know about how he sentenced an entire tribe to death for the high crime of not swearing fealty to him?

pretty racist question. however i observe that in most of the countries observing terrorism problems , incl america, UK, Russia, India , France etc the names linked are invariably Muslim outfits like ..........But , u rarely come across a terrorist outfit from other religions.
but i am of the view that this has more to do with inadquate education, harmful scoietyand peer pressure. I have come across some very helpful, educated and kind hearted muslims too.But by and large as an ethnic group , they have misinterpreted the teachings of the original religion as enunciated centuries ago.

my advice to all of u that condemn islam, study it first and then judge.

please dont judge by reports from tv and newspapaer. buy an islam book or get help from islamic societies.

actually many people has converted to islam when they study it. i tell you the truth.

A perfect set of rules for life (food, friendship, war, divorce, marriage, etc.)

The perfect way of life, but as you see on the news alot there are some terrorists & idiots who like to call themselves Muslims who are working for God, but really they only commit such crimes because they are angry and felt pain that was caused by westerners and Israel, etc. So they take it out, but Islam warned them of pursuing things that hurt others and benefited them.
