I have a curly synthetic hair weave by freetress, and sometimes because of the summer heat it gets hot and sticky underneath, so I tend to wash it often and then put mousse into it, to make the curls looks nice and airdry, and it works great! But is washing my curly weave thats not human hair often, damaging the curls or hurting anything else?

If you like to wash your hair weaves to lenghten the life of the hairstyle, I would recommend using human hair. The trip to any false hair is to leave a small amount of conditioner in the hair, it will leave it soft, and maintain the curls longer. False Hair is just like food everything has a shelf life. No sew in should be in longer than 3 months.

Well since it isn't human hair then you should really wash it everyday, and putting mouse into it could be the cause of making it hot and sticky, but if you are really uncomfortable with it, then you can replace it with human hair, but it all comes to a price$$!!!

Why don't you ask your hairdresser or the hair supplier ? What is wrong with you ? The packaging the hair came in should also give care instructions. This is foolish !!!
