I am assuming that you not only lost your back button, but all of the buttons. If you only lost your back button, but still have forwards, refresh, etc, then I'm not sure.

But simply right click on an empty space on the grey area towards the top (ie clicking on on the area with the menu bar (File, Edit, Help, etc). Right click on the empty grey area, anywhere at top and then check off the "Standard Buttons".

Go to View. Then Toolbar. Then Customize. Then scroll through "Available Toolbar buttons, and when you find "<=Back" click it and click add. Or you can drag it to the other side. You can use the move the "Back" Button by clicking the (move up or move down buttons). Hope that helps!

Well you should be able to right click on the Toolbar and Customize it. (add buttons) Without knowing your exact browser that is all I can tell you.
