it all depends on your hair, if it looks nice long then I'd say keep it long. You may want to dye it(if you have a lot of grays, because long gray hair isn't so pretty). I say you're as young as you feel, just because you reach a certain age doesn't mean you need to go out & get a "grandma" haircut. If you feel like your long hair makes you look older though you could try getting a cute spunky cut. You could also try adding some highlights, they'll add a little zip to your hair style (they'll also make it a little harder to spot grays)

depends on the hair length, if she is a full of life 45 year old, than a medium bob would be nice, than again you have to look at the shape of her face and all, that has a factor also. i wear mine long, and flowing with highlights.

Long enough that your partner can grab a handful when entering from behind. But by all means ladies, go with bare hardwood floors downstairs, no shag carpet, especially if it doesn't match the drapes!
