Didn't your religion originate when Muhammad met an angel or messenger of Allah in a cave? Don't you think that's a bit easy to fake..

Not only that, but he thought he was talking to a demon, and his wife convinced him it was Gabriel.

Islam is a logical religion based on valid evidences. The holy Quran is a book like no other book and after 1400 years it stands in a class by itself as the most accurate book ever, not even a letter has been changed and it is still fresh and amazingly challenging. See the links below of knowledgeable Christians who converted to Islam and now devoting their lives for its sake, but you will never find a knowledgeable Muslim who converted to Christianity and then devoted his life for its cause, and I think the reasons are clear. Who ever has an open mind and heart and do his own search will find the truth which I hope all will be guided to so they establish the inner peace and harmony with the world, and find the answers of difficult question that only Islam can solve.

The early pagan Arabs were horrible people who buried their daughters and got drunk a lot and etc.

To escape from all this madness, Prophet Mohammad (saw) would go to the cave of Hira and contemplate. One night Angel Gabriel came to him, while he was in the cave and told him he was chosen by God to spread Islam. Of course he thought it was something like a demon because it's hard for an uneducated Arab to understand.

This is just like Moses, who became a prophet when God burned that tree to get his attention. He also received messages from Angel Gabriel like all other prophets.

At first this whole situation of becoming a prophet while being in a cave sounds insane. But the Quran is way to complex for any human being to create, especially a being who could not write or read to save his life.

The Quran speaks of things no human being probably knew before it, like how man was made, how a child is conceived, and much much more.

I don't doubt the accuracy of the Prophet Mohammad (saw) or the Quran or God at all.

What was not 'easy to fake' is what causes many Muslims to weep - the pure poetry and beauty of the Qur'an in Arabic! What's more impressive is that Muhammad (peace be upon him) was NOT able to read or write and yet - each year during the month of Rammadan would recite the Qur'an in its entirety word for word!

Furthermore, the experience of meeting Gabriel was terrifying for Muhammad - he said that he felt as though he was being squeezed very tightly - and he, at first, didn't believe it had actually happened. It was his loving wife, Khadijah, who first believed that he had - in fact - had a super-natural experience!

The religion was named Islam when Prophet Muhammad came out of the cave, but the teachings of Islam started with Adam. Islam teaches to worship God alone and nobody else that was a teaching taught by Solomon, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus etc etc.

That's far too easy to fake, even to oneself. You know, that man spent like fourty years up there in that cave, plenty of time to go insane.

Worry about your own soul first.
For some reason I don't think you are God's favorite child.

Good luck!
