It will be helpful if you tell me the good points of your faith and, what you perceive as the bad, in the faith of others that are different to yours. Thank you in anticipation..

AJ: A nice idea but nothing you say proves the existance a God, at this moment my thought is that you have been indoctrinated from an early age; and your blind faith comes from your parents or teachers. I am searching for something to believe in. It's widely held by ecclesiastic scholars and Clergy, that the Gospels were written by anonymous authors, up to 70AD, people who didn't know Jesus. Yet I've been told that all the Bible was written by God in person. Do you realy believe that 'Blind Faith' in this case will convince anyone.. I'm still looking !

Lukman : Thanks for that! On Answers the followers of a particular faith sometimes get carried away in protesting their beliefs and there are none more passionate than Muslims and unfortunately in most cases, in my experience, violent expletives are used. I have no religion but I think "These people want to kill me" and "If I'm not with them it seems that they think I'm against them". I'm most definately not!
Your posting shows me, I hope, that you don't want to kill me if I am not a Muslim; and I don't know what the Quran says on the subject but, I think the Bible says something about 'Free Will'. You might well go to a heaven, but not as a Martyred faithful, in this case!

Good points of my faith. Love, forgivness, peace, tolerance, free will, faith, peace and assurance.
Bad points: That many percieve this faith to be something it is not, because of MEN who act in the name of God. The bad points, to me, of other faiths is the recognition of mans ideals over what the Bible actully says, wich are all the good points I mentioned above.
If your really searching, Id love to talk to you. Email me, or Im on messenger right now.

If this is a serious question, then it's not a question of faith, it is more that of a sect or religion. Faith is a personal relationship with God, believing in the unseen thing, having a walk in a blind faith that you trully believe and need no proof, if so, then where is your faith? Our communication with the father is via prayer and any Chrisitan can say I feel sure, they have experienced that or at least know it's true.To me, it is a shallow existence you bear in believing that you or other men care enough of your well being to hear your inner most heart felt prayers and would die for you and say, this is my beloved son, of whom I am well pleased. The bad part about any religion is the over zealous, the ones that right or wrong follow a church or it's pastor and loose God's meaning but blinded by self serving reasons and can not see it. This often leads others away and those ones sitting on the fence to fall off. Spirituality is God sent as well as our personality for this I need no scientific explanation, I know that each one of us is born with a unique personality, that our mothers womb did not provide. To me that is a sure sign we come from a creator and just as Paul's letter in the book of Ephesians states,we all come from God and all things were known long ago and we became gifts to the Christ, at his death on that cross. Take a chance have the courage to say, I believe there is better things than a man, I need salvation and accept it. Maybe this will aide your research.

Thank you for your question and excuse me for posting a response to another question that I already wrote, because I think it will do the job.
Islam is a logical religion based on valid evidences. The holy Quran is a book like no other book and after 1400 years it stands in a class by itself as the most accurate book ever, not even a letter has been changed and it is still fresh and amazingly challenging. See the links below of knowledgeable Christians who converted to Islam and now devoting their lives for its sake, but you will never find a knowledgeable Muslim who converted to Christianity and then devoted his life for its cause, and I think the reasons are clear. Who ever has an open mind and heart and do his own search will find the truth which I hope all will be guided to so they establish the inner peace and harmony with the world, and find the answers of difficult question that only Islam can solve. Good luck.

I am a Catholic. I don't know if I can tell you why my faith is better than others...because I really believe that any kind of faith is good. I believe in God and Jesus, and I find this comforting that I have someone watching out for me. It is nice to have someone to thank for my life and to pray to when I need help.
I think that if you are looking for answers, you can start by simply believing in God.. you don't need to follow a religion, just work on your faith and trust in God.
Many people think that religion is a lie, that it is all made up and it is stupid to believe in something with no proof. I can't prove my religion to you, nor can I disprove another religion. I simply believe, and that's the power of God. I hope you find what you are looking for...but again, you don't need to just pick a religion to follow...just start with God and take it from there.

I would suggest that you take a close look for yourself at different religions. Don't take what people are telling you REALLY study things out for yourself. Make an attempt to study every facet of each religion. Start with Christianity, the study will take over a year. If in the end that is not the path you are going to take then start on a second religion.

Organized religion is the world is a conspiracy to suppress the working classes into subordinates. Get to know yourself as a worthwhile capable human being and set out to do good for yourself and others. If one needs a religion and must worship, then worship the self and the world in which we live.

The best part of Christianity is forgiveness and grace. No other religion gives you that.
The worst part is how people twist Christianity and form cults that lead people astray.
No other religion gives you a relationship with God through His son. No other religion gives you love and mercy.
Christianity is TRUTH. And I am all for believing the truth.

What I see as good points to my faith, is knowing that I know right from wrong, good from bad, try to always do what's right, & pro-active, & I am a good strong judge of character, not that I am judgemental of others because I am accepting of the indifferences in others, but I can almost see thru people within a few minutes of of meeting them, & I am right near 100% of the time, a gift? (where did this come from? it is almost like being psyche) In the faith of others that are different than mine; they are hippocritical, as they preach their faith, know their bible, but commit sins left & right like they don't know any better.

The Articles of Faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
l. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances therof.
6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion("the New Jerusalem") will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11. We claim the privelge of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12. We believe in being subject to king, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul- We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
Joseph Smith.

'Agnostic' implies rationality and the ability to employ critical thought. Adopting some religious view implies abdicating ownership of your own thought processes in favor of some dogmatic form of willful ignorance. I don't think that's ever a good idea.
Keep thinking.
