Experimentation in sex comes at different ages depending on the circumstances but should not be forced.

For some reason, people are so afraid to be a virgin it seems like...you should definitely wait until you are married, not just until "you love the person", which a lot of people think. How could sex at 12 even be good? I read a thing on here the other day and 95% of the people lost theirs at age 14!! And most of them said it wasn't even good...how could it be?
Sex is a gift that God gave us for two purposes: to express love between a married man and woman and to have children.
Not to "experiment" with or to "see" what it's like. That's a croc and anyone who abuses this gift God has given us, I believe, will be under his firm judgement! It is a serious sin in the Lord's eyes and too many people take it lightly.

Yes I feel the same about it... It has totally gotten out of hand! I don't know but there's so many reasons why it's like this. The internet, tv, the lack of education in school, parents not talking about sex enough??? I mean 12, 13.. that's so young... 17, 18.. ok that's reasonable!
Kids have sex and they're too young to understand it/deal with the consequences of their actions, I really don't know but at some point something will have to change, there will have to be a breaking point I mean it's not getting any better with time
Be proud to be a virgin! Don't rush it please... My cousin is your age I mean nooooo take your time in life for when the time is right
: )

I think it is way out of hand. There are so many questions on here about "What age did you lose your verginity at?". For one, I would hope you would know how to spell virginity before you lost it. Also about half of these people were like 16 or younger. That is ridiculous. Its not right.
I blame the media. The way people are portrayed and the people they give us to look up to are not good role models. Seriously, Lindsay Lohan? Hilary Duff? We know they gave it away years ago. These kids are being taught that casual sex is socially acceptable, and its not right.
Good for you. I am also fifteen, a virgin, and I am proud of it.

First, congratulations on your decision. You will have much peer pressure to have sex and I hope that you can resist the temptations from without and within.
Second, most people haven't a clue about love and sex, so it gets confusing.
Third, he could just be a big asss liar.
Fourth, statutory rape is a law on the books. Even if he "agreed", he legally cannot give consent for sex until 18.

yes the world is getting out of hand on a lot of things ... sex included... this should be something that is done on your wedding night... once you give it away you can never get it back....being a virgin at 15 is a wonderful thing and I commend you for it... stick with it and your marriage partner will know what kind of a person you truly are....

Whatever. If only they could have classes to teach them how to use condoms it wouldnt be so bad. All the so-called "sex ed" classes today are idiotic ramblings and preachings about abstinence. It doesnt really matter to me as long as its done safely, which it isnt these days. Thats the problem we should attack.

i agree - i think the situation is ridiculous. this is why we have so many teenage pregnancys, and so many people who regret losing their viginity so young. I dont think that you are emotionally or mentally ready, whatever you body may be telling you! i am 17, and havnt really considered having sex yet. im planning to wait until i am fully comfortable with the situation.
