Those cotton swabs that are thick (like a tampon only way smaller) that dentists put by your tooth / gum to keep it dry, he went to take it out and I gagged, and started choking. I sat up real quick, and swallowed it on accident. Now my stomach feels funny but I think I'm just paranoid, and everywhere from my throat to my stomach feels like it did when I first swallowed it, kinda wierd.

You'll be fine. Your story reminds me of the time I swallowed a loose tooth as a child. I was eating an apple, as I prepared to take another bite I noticed blood on it. I had apparently swallowed my tooth. Needless to say, I didn't get the tooth back, but the tooth fairy left some money under my pillow anyway. Hmm, I wonder how she knew.

You will be fine. You will digest it and um 'get rid of it' like anything else. I bet the dentist was a bit taken back, I know I have never heard of anyone swallowing one! I have had people walk out of the office with one in their mouth, but not swallow it, those things are pretty big!
Funny story that goes along with that, my boyfriend, as a child swallowed a guitar pick on accident (don't ask). His mom called the doctor and they told her to feed him a lot of cotton, so when it came out it wouldn't hurt anything. So she fed him mashed potatoes laced with cotton! Everything came out and he is still alive to be tortured by the story! I am sure he ingested a lot more than you.

No worries. Cotton is from a plant, non-toxic and should be digestible. Ppl have accidentally swallowed worse things than that! LOL Try drinking lots of water though.

The cotton swab will pass on through--don't worry about it. Eat a couple of bananas. Not a problem.

I learned this in science. Anything that is not fruit, vegetables, meat, dough, or sweet is not digestible and will come out the same way you swallowed it. You will be okay though.

Yes you will be fine. My brother once swallowed a lego and then later he swallowed a penny. Don't worry it will come out!

im sure you'll be alright, it will most likely pass through your system as normal its only a little peice of cotton in your belly. he he your "stuffed" lol
