Looking forward to swimming in the lake of fire with Satan and his imps and his fellow demons. And the way I'm living my life I'll probably be in there with ya'll.

"Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law, love under will, love is the law."

This is the only rule in Satanism. It just shows how complex and judgemental God and his Christians, Muslims and Jews are.

BTW don't bother with Anton LaVey. He is a complete idiot and gives all Satanists a bad name. Aleister Crowley is much better. He is the guy that Ozzy Osbourne and all those British metallers were influenced by. Anton LaVey is just a sick f***. The Church of Satan is a Joke, but its not funny, just sick. You will notice however that they don't advocate harming children, contrary to popular myth.

Most Satanists are complete pacifists and ritual sacrifice is definitely NOT part of the belief. Most Satanists do not belong to any Church.

Satanists believe that GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE EVIL. GIVEN WHAT ISRAEL, USA AND THE MUSLIM FUNDAMENTALISTS ARE UP TO IT MAKES A LOT MORE SENSE THAN THE OTHER WAY AROUND. And I'm not even a Satanist. A number of my friends are though, they haven't had any trouble because they don't follow any of the crap spouted by Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan. They have interesting experiences with nature spirits instead.

From my understanding, the most important tenant in LeVayan Satanism is looking out for yourself. LeVayan Satanists are all about doing what is best for the self first, and to hell with what is best for the community or your neighbors.

Not a terrible religion for people who have self image/esteem issues, actually.

1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.

2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.

3. When in another’s lair, show him respect or else do not go there.

4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.

5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.

6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.

7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.

8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.

9. Do not harm little children.

10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.

11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

To be a good Satanist...first thing is to firmly believe in God.
Then disagree with everything he stands for...

Although Im not into satanism I have had people close to me who were at one time into it. I suggest you try reading the satanic bible by Anton Lavey. It will teach you all you need to know. One word of caution, I have seen personally people in my life who got into satanism and ended up dealing with very dark things in life. Now Im not trying to scare you but Im serious they went through a very serious personal hell. It changed them and it got out of control. They did things I never imagined they would ever do. They changed and in the end they ended up turning ot god to help them. I myself am no religion. I believe in god but not in religion but from what I have witnessed, I would be careful about falling in to deep. Good luck and happy reading. I hope I have helped you in some way.

To believe in Jesus! (aka: the morning star)

Riddle me this: Jesus and Satan (aka: Lucifer) - R one in the same?

In Roman astronomy, "Lucifer" was the name given to the morning star (the star we now know by another Roman name, Venus). The morning star appears in the heavens just before dawn, heralding the rising sun. The name derives from the Latin term lucem ferre, "bringer, or bearer, of light."

So, "Lucifer" is nothing more than an ancient Latin name for the morning star, the bringer of light. That can be confusing for Christians who identify Christ himself as the morning star. Jesus refers to himself as the morning star in Revelation 22:16: "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

Lucifer makes his 1st appearance in the King James version (Isaiah 14:12) and nowhere else: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

The "problem" is that Lucifer is a Latin name. So how did it find its way into a Hebrew manuscript, written before there was a Roman language???

Fact is, in the original Hebrew text, Isaiah 14 is not about a fallen angel, but about a fallen Babylonian king, who during his lifetime had persecuted the children of Israel. It contains no mention of Satan, either by name or reference. In the Hebrew text the expression used to describe the Babylonian king before his death is Helal, son of Shahar, which can best be translated as "Day star, son of the Dawn.

Hebrew scholars speculate early Christian scribes, writing in the Latin tongue used by the Church, decided for themselves that they wanted the story to be about a fallen angel, a creature not even mentioned in the original Hebrew text, and to whom they gave the name "Lucifer".

More specifically, scholars authorized by King James I to translate the Bible into current English did not use the original Hebrew texts, but used versions translated from the Catholic Vulgate Bible produced largely by St. Jerome in the fourth century. Jerome had mistranslated the Hebraic metaphor, "Day star, son of the Dawn," as "Lucifer," and over the centuries a metamorphosis took place. "Lucifer" the morning star became a disobedient angel, cast out of heaven to rule eternally in hell. Theologians interwove the myth with the doctrine of the Fall, and in Christian tradition "Lucifer" is now the same as Satan, the Devil, and - ironically- the Prince of Darkness.

So, King James version (Isaiah 14:12) begins "How art thou fallen from heaven, 0 Lucifer..." has now been translated directly from the Hebrew in the New English Biible as "How you have fallen from heaven, bright morning star..." There is no mention of Lucifer, no reference to any disobedient angel plunging to hell, nor should there be.

Very good, if you've made it this far! Now you know the REAL story of Lucifer, the bringer of light.

Doesn't really matter, though, there is no Heaven or Hell, Jesus or Devil - it's all BS from the Dark Ages, IMHO. You're in for an eternal dirt bath when you die. So grow up and deal with it ;-)
