Mutilation regardless on where the the person hurts themselves, is an act in most honesty they have to want to stop themselves. In most cases a person that self mutilates is trying to bring their inner pain to the surface in the hope that when the wounds heal their inner pain will be healed as well. There are support groups on line for all different types of self mutilators and your doctor can send you to the right specialists to help you find out the reasons you are doing this to yourself, you are not alone there are many self mutilators out there.
