This is a follow-up. Basically, my wife confided to me--after we watched some nasty movies--that the thought of her enjoying sex with a muscular black man has become a fantasy for her. She says that's it is just a fantasy and she would never act on it. I love her, believe her, trust her. It's just a huge turn-on, she says. When I let her choose a dildo online--suprise!--she chose a large black one. She said that we could play games and she could pretend she is having sex with a muscular personal trainer or stripper. She says that it is a way to fulfill her fantasy and experience a huge **** without actually cheating. Of course, she goes out of her way to stress how much she loves me, enjoys sex with me, and would never stray in real life. She says that women are more disciplined and that she could have a muscular black personal trainer in real life (hypothetically) and she would just get turned on and rush home to me for sex. My question is..is the dildo a bad idea? Am I a fool?

Sounds like you're being a good husband, keeping it on the homefront. everyone has fantasies. You should be grateful she shares them with you instead of going elsewhere. Sounds like you have a healthy marriage. Have fun.

Aren't you hurt that she is even pretending to be with someone else? Aren't you good enough for her?
She is already cheating on you in her mind. Why don't you turn the tables? Make her wear certain things, get a wig that is not her hair colour, make her shave down there if she's hairy or tell her to grow it if she's not. Then tell her how you fantasise about someone other than her and see what she has to say!
She will eventually kill your self esteem if she keeps this up, so she should know how it feels.

you know it is sooooo good that you have such an open linen of communication.. i commend you both for being so open to each other and no you are not a fool..you are just a great husband that is trying to keep his wife happy..i truly believe that she loves you and that she will not cheat on you..but keep in mind that a fantasy is that a fantasy and you bot should just live it at that..if you ever try to full fill it ...it ruin the happy marriage that you have until today ........take care and keep pleasing her ,,,you are a good huby......

you seem to be an openminded guy and hardly a fool. the dildo is not a bad idea. in fact when you explore her fantasies in this manner she is getting her fantasies met in a realistic way cause she can't do it any other way. here's an analogy...it's like putting condom machines in high schools. this allows for young people to have sex without catching unwanted std's. the machines aren't going to encourage them to have sex....just like getting the dildo isn't going to encourage her to then go out and get the real thing. ultimately, people are going to do what they do.....and they are the one's responsible for their own behaviours. they'll have sex if they want to, seeing a condom dispenser is not going to make the difference. she will go out and get it if she decides to do that, the dildo isn't going to make that choice for her, she makes up that choice on her own.
