To be honest with you, I don't like the idea of the US giving money to other nations. Not when we have our elderly who need to be given some serious help with their prescriptions. After we take care of our own, everyone else we can help.

Nobody points a gun at America and says "send money over!" just as nobody points a gun at you and says "give us money to protect animals!" so its you and your president's choice if you want to send money to anybody. But then remember this, when your country needs help from other countries, don't ask for it (if you turn away from other countries' needs).

I don't get what the point is related to immigration - we even send money to Mexico and others further south.

Is this about Iraq, how much did we send him directly for aid since Bush was president?

America should invest monies in other country to assist in development of industries and agriculture for self-sufficiency

Sharing is a good thing.....if America is too rich then it is good to share some of their wealth with poorer countries.
