I had this dream last night that this figure who kept changing back and forth into a woman and man.He/she had dark hair and was wearing a dark red robe. This person told me his/her name was Uriel and then it walked into me and I could do all these weird things like move objects with my mind. He/she kept telling me that it was here to help me with my creativity and get my life on track. Recently I lost my job and I am broke and very scared.
Anyway, I am not religious but this person felt so real to me...so I looked up the name and apparently this figure depicts Archangel Uriel (right down to the dark red robe and the creativity thing). However, I was not exactly comforted by this angel if he/she was one. He/shewas domineering, intimidating and actually scared me a bit. I wanted to get away from he/she because his presense was so thick it was choking me. Aren't angels supposed to be comforting?

Since you are not religious it should have scared you because are automatically suspicious of the angel whether it is bad or good....a dark angel or demon will not try to help you the way Uriel did...if it felt as real as you say it was...I had a dream similar..where Jesus visted me and wanted me to go with but I was scared and sceptical...the moment I woke up my life had been changed forever...I believed it was real form that moment on...my dream was very vivid like yours, very effective to my five senses...mezmerizing...So I would say YES it was probably a message being sent to you...God is there always

I'm not a doctor. That being said, I believe the fears you are experiencing are of being broke or homeless.
The being you "experienced" was forceful, powerful, and domineering. When the being entered you, your mind has shown you that you can be more powerful than you would currently believe.
It was represented in a male and female role to demonstrate this power can exist in either sex.
This is an attempt to force you into action, make you believe you have experienced an omnipotent power that cannot fail.
The "choking presence" was to remind you to not be overpowering in your newly found confidence.
I love this question, "What would you attempt if you KNEW you could not fail?"

I would agree that this angel did visit you. Not all angels are good (ever see Dogma?) but then again, perhaps it was more of a fear of taking charge and adapting to change in your life? Maybe he was sent to scare you a bit into showing you that you can do this on your own and it will be a good thing but scary as hell.
