Cats CAN live in the "wild",Its there instinct-make some sighns.....that has always worked for me....and heres the best way to do it....:(oh no!!!-well first of all take a pictures to any local walmart or wallgreens,in the photo center there should be a kadack machine
you can youse the scaner to make a bigger picture and you can cut and crop-andzoom and enhance to make the photo bring out the littlest deatials about your kittie!Heres some more idaes of how to make your sighn more noticable for passing cars{that is i f you put it up on stop sighns and lamp post}!!Ok well fist-are you offering an aword?an aword will help your kittie come home!if you live in a large city than offer around $50-if you live in a smaller naiborhood than offer aroun$20-25!on your sighn you will need the following supplies if you do it this way!
~ cunstruction paper
~pictures!
~glue
~glitter glue
~sparkles
~colerd sharpies
~foam
~water proof covering
~a cash reward
~and of course time and love!
you can get all this stuff for about $20 at walmart!now i hope your cat really is missing{and this is not just another joke....}
FIRST-lay out about ten difrent color construction papers-the color of your photo should not blen in with the colors of the construction paper for best results!put the pictures on the construction paper-leeving a good amount of room for you to write!glue the picture down and then glue around the picture!take a cup of water and ad two diffrent colors of sparkles stir it around with piant brushes-then carfully brush onto glue{which was around the picture}making a sparkly picture frame!
Next-under-or above the picture{depending where you put the picture}Write in multi. colors of sharpie "REWARD-$??"filling the "??"with however much mony-like said before!then gliter glue around or on top of the letters-so when the sun shines on the sparkles-the reward lights up and catches viewers eyes-!!
Then-write out your information with the sharpies-make sure to write your PHONE # in big bold letter so that viewers can see it with a simple glanse!you can also write your name-address and kitties name!
After that take the foam and cut out harts-stars and any other shapes that you please......put a thin layer of glitter on them and put on the corners of your paper!this too will help it stand out! When this is done your poster should look great!Put the water proof covering on the poster and you should be ready to go and put them up...!
You can make as many as you want-as many as you need,i was just saying ten to give you an estimate!it may not be too full when your done but you dont want it over crowded-the first one may not look as good as you may imangine so you can play around with diffrent ideas to make it look the way you want it-just remeber....you dont want it cramed with information so that views only see alot of letters-you want to put things so that when driving by at 25-40 mph you can some-what tell what it says!
another way to help is to color copy one of the crations and hand them out to all your naibors and friends and even post in local gas stiations!
I hope with all my heart you fined your lost kitten and that she is unharmed-i know how it feels-two of my cats ran away a couple years ago.......we got one back but then she ran away agian-but the person who brought her back said she never would have nown who the cat belong to if my sighn hadnt cought her eye!Of course i cant promis my sighns will work for you but i certanly hope they do! Maby if she comes home you should put a coller and name tag on her! Also have you checked your local animal shelters and spca's?maby some-one found her and took her to one of thoughs not knowing where she lived!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOPE YOU THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have had cats come back after a fewmonths away, they have survived before humanes came along and can survive now!As long as he was not de-clawed he should be fine,i hope a car did not get him, many animals go that way but try to keep your chin up!Good luck!

The odds are against the kitten coming back again, between the speeders and the possible hungry predators. But it's not impossible.
Ask your neighbors to watch for her. She's probably going to be very scared, so they may not be able to actually catch her. You might consider walking the area calling her. Make sure to listen in case she meows back. If you have any pictures of your little furry friend, make posters. If she likes treats, carry a few with you to tempt her to come down, if she got stranded in a tree.
Good luck!

Oh, boy. If you're in a wooded area, it is likely she because lunch or dinner for the local coyote. Try looking for her by going on a hike through the wooded area. If she had a collar, you'll find it or maybe someone local found her and is taking care of her. Post signs in stores or at the closest street light or stop signs.
Sorry to hear about your cat. My friend found her cat's collar and the rest of her eaten body near it. She was kinda distraught after seeing a mess like that and it was her kitty. I hope someone has your kitty. Good luck.

I lost my cat, and I would put treats out by the door, then a neighbor came by asking what I was doing, and low and behold she didn't think it belonged to anyone, so she took it to the humane society. Check that out. Or put some posters with the cat's picture on it, if you have a picture, if not put the description, wait awhile someone may call.
I got my cat back.

When we lost our kitten we called a local elementary school and they announced it on the PA, turns out a family had found him and they were taking care of him.
Fast forward several yrs later, another cat got lost and was gone for over a month. we had signs up everywhere and we had basically given up hope of finding him again. one night we heard him at the door. he was emaciated and his voice was hoarse and his nails were badly damaged. We suspect he was trapped somewhere for some time. it was a new neighborhood but he managed to find his way home. Cats are pretty good at finding their homes, they have a good sense of smell and they usually mark their territory. Don't give up, good luck! :o)

I have had a small kitten leave before and sadly he never came back. I have an adult cat who goes away for weeks at a time but comes back around every once in a while. So anything is possible, I hope she does come back, it is so sad when you loose a pet.

You sound young and I feel for you. Losing a pet can be hard. Leave food outside with a blanket or something familiar to the kitten. You can also check with the local animal shelters. Good luck!

around how big is she and how long had you have her?
is she is familiar with the place she'd come back herself sooner or later..
otherwise, i fear she might be lost because kittens get lost easily - i always go kitty hunting when their lost cos my mom has 11 cats.
once a kitten (only around 10-15cm sized) got lost for two weeks but it came back by itself. the first person ot saw was me and forever after that it loved me to bits (before it only loved my mom)..
so, please be patient? i know your worried.. but pray for the best..

there is the distict posibility that she became a victom of the road, but young cats are usualy afraid of cars and other loud noises . check with your neighbors its verry comon for juvenile cats to be taken mistaken for strays or just flat out kitty-naped.
