Typically it's four years of college, four of med school, one of internship, three of residency, and then possible a fellowship. Basically, you're looking at 12 years. Get a head start on that.

Just guessing, if you donn't go to summer school, 4 years for each, for a total of 12 years.

Four years of college (unless you're biright enough to do it in three)
Four years of medical school (no shortcuts here)
Residency - 3 years
