If you want a helpfull answer, please read.

Ask God and pray, fast, read your Bible, and stop tempting yourself...

I know it's hard to get through temtation, I've struggeled with it my whole life. these verses have always helped me......

"God is faithful; he will not let you be temted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."- 1Corinthians 10:13, the Bible

"Because Jesus Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted."- Hebrews 2:18, the Bible

"The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and gogly lives in this present age."- Titus 2:11-12, the Bible

"Keep oneself from being polluted by the world."- James 1:27, the Bible

Obviously it is almost impossible to resist temptation by our own willpower, but God is the one that we should trust.

Temptation will follow us around until we die, we just have to stand up to it and not give in, with God's help.

If what you watch on tv, or read, or do, tempts you into sin, then stop doing that, stop making it harder on yourself.

Even so, we all fail sometimes, and all we have to do is ask God's forgiveness and try again.

There are millions out there like you and me, so you are not alone.

I am praying for you, may God bless you and yours

No matter what the sin, you cannot get rid of it alone. That is the devil working on you and the only way to get rid of it is by prayer. God can get rid of it quicker than a blink of your eye. He delivered me from alcohol, nicotine, anger and so many more things. I was left with one sin that worried me almost to the point of tears, and I could not help myself. I prayed about it constantly, but went back to it every day. I was a Porn addict. One night, only a couple of weeks ago, I stressed to the Lord how badly I wanted to escape the tempter's snare and I got up the next morning and haven't watched porn from that moment on. It is now so disgusting to me, I don't even let it enter my mind.

First of all know that it is not you that is wanting to do the sin, it's a spiritual influence. You wouldn't have even known about the sin had satan not told you how to do it. Then, know that your are completely forgiven and cleansed already, adn that God doesn't love you any less. He thinks the best about you no matter what. God is not counting anyone's sins against them.

Pray to God, and keep trying, repentance is more about accepting a sin as wrongful to God and wanting to stop. No one repents of every sin, it's impossible.

2 Peter 3
8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

If you're not hurting another, then it should not be considered a sin and you don't need to worry about it. If it makes you happy, then continue. If not, then discontinue. If you are hurting another, then by all means, you need to seek help.

Sin is a Christian concept. Consider this: how can God be offended by anything we do? He is the almighty! I believe he loves us unconditionally and is forgiving of anything and everything we do.

If you are a christian, then
"Talk to your pastor if you are in a church, trust me, accountability works. And know this: Holy Spirit will give us the strength to overcome it and desire to please God"

If you are not a christian, you probably don't know what I'm talking about. Well:
Look for a professional counselor or doctor for help if you really can't get out of it. If still fail, you need to know Jesus and ask Him to set you free.
Not trying to convert anyone here, but just to testify. I have seen and heard about many drug addicts, gambler, and many other being set free because of the power of God. Even evil spirit are cast out in the name of Jesus.

Praise and Glory be to God.

Flush "another law", the "second" of Mt 22: 36-40 "law law", or the second of Rom 8:2 "law law", since JC noted the second is like the first, and Paul notes it's "evil(law) concupiscence", caused him to do things he would not do, not do things he would do, then made him feel "wretched", by hounding him with guilt. Not to mention another law has seven names, all including "law", which is to say "seven other spirits more wicked".

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

1) You stop because you know it is wrong and recognize that you are an individual with sovereignty over your own being.

OR

2) You recognize that religion is a crock, you live your life as you choose short of harming others, and you stop worrying about it.

Nothing wrong with either way.
