First of all..make sure you've done your share of work for the day. Lay off any caffeine drinks well before bed..then don't worry so much about getting to sleep. If you still can't get to sleep..don't just lay there..get up and do something until you get tired again. Good luck in dream land!

think of a nice place where you like hanging out and close your eyes..maybe turn the music on softly. They also make "ocean sounds" that you can listen to and this helps sometimes
