Our father who art in heaven.
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Lord, give us this day, our daily bread,
and please forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lord, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever.

Amen

It is called the Lords Prayer, found in Matthew 6:9-13. Our father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. (God our father and the father of Jesus, The most high God, this is showing we know and except him as the father and all glory goes to him.) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (This showes that we know and accept that God has a plan for us and that it is so we may come back to him in his kingdom. And that our time spent on earth is a learning place so that we may in the end be with him in heaven, that we will do our part to see that his plan is done by being obediant to his commandments and words as best we can.) Give us our daily bread ( Shows we understand that we are truly under his power that if he so chose we would not have anything, it is his will, not ours that we live.) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. ( This is the knowlege that he will Judge us on our own actions. The more we forgive others the more he will forgive us. the more love and help we give others the more he will show us.) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: ( Reminds us that reading the scriptures every day and studying his word helps us to resist temptations because the Holy ghost has more influnce over us when we are rightous than when not, there are things we can do that the holy ghost just leaves us to our own. And will not reside with us while we think or do those things. There by we have no warning of evil about to happen or personal revolation that warns us to leave somewhere we shouldnt be.) For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. ( Shows that we know not to worship other Gods or other meterial things. There will be none other than him and never will be, He has all the power, Glory, and will chose who he shares it with.) (This next part was taught by his deciples after death of christ and should also be said.) In the name of Jesus Christ. ( He is our advicate with the father the one that the father has shared his power and glory with, not to be worshiped in place of the father but be worshiped with the father.) Hope this helps. But as with all things this should not be your only prayer you need to ask of thing expedent for you and thank him for things that he has given you individualy of as a group.

JESUS GAVE THAT PRAYER AS AN EXAMPLE BUT NOT TO REPEAT IT OVER AND OVER, NEVER THE LESS HERE IT IS.
Mt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Mt 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Mt 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mt 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
