The library won't take them scratched. some slouchy old guy deliberately stole them because I turned him in for talking sex to my 16 yearold sister. They won't believe my story because they claim that he has given a lot to the library so I had to either give them $50 for the replacemnents or replace them myself. I ordered all 3 of them off ebay. the first one had very minor scratches but the 2nd one had a ton of them even though the owner claimed it was "like new" and the final one hasn't come in yet, but its claim is that it is sealed in its original packaging. I want to know if sckip doctor, a machine that claims to get rid of scratches truly works.

The skip doctor would help a little if the scratches are light and superficial. But if you have deep scratches in your cds, the skip doctor won't be able to repair that. Best of luck to you........
