Wounds from the countless human tragedies on all sides will take generations to heal, provided of course that some process of resolution could begin now ... so it's very difficult. The biggest help would be for *all* foreign governments to stop meddling in the area and pledge a moratorium on weapons sales and shipments, in favor of of purely humanitarian aid. The peoples of the region might have a chance at gradually negotiating a solution on their own terms.

Wow - Answerer "Dd" is absolutely right. We send billions to Israel and keep them propped up while they treat their neighbors in the same way they themselves were abused during the Holocaust. The UN and the US need to actively intervene and insist on following the "Roadmap." The 2-state solution is the only way.

Look at any map printed prior to WWII - there was no such country as Israel. It was Palestine. Check out Golda Meir's famous denial: "There is no such thing as a Palestinian people... It is not as if we came and threw them out and took their country. They didn't exist." Um, what???

The Palestinian people are entitled to their own land. Belated world guilt over the Holocaust should have established the Jewish homeland in Germany, not on top of their hereditary enemies in the Middle East from way back in Biblical times. Such insanity.

Does anyone actually believe there will ever be peace with this set-up? How sane is it to govern modern states based on Biblical prophesy?

The solution is for Americans to object to sending $90 Billion of their taxes to Israel to finance a barbaric occupation.
And for the American people to demand that it's governments stop blocking efforts to reach a peaceful solution:-

This is what the Israeli's have been up to, with support from successive US. Governments:-
