i have attenpted suicide so many times in different ways..but why am i still here

It is not your time yet. Maybe God is telling you something. Perhaps you should check with Him before you try to check out.

My answer to you may be "tainted" because I am a firm Christian and believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that in finding salvation, God has become my adopted father and that He loves me and all who come to Him, so if you don't believe that my answer might not be what you're looking for. But I'll try anyway.
The idea of suicide is kind of like trying to take control of life. As much as I love to be in control I have had to resign myself to the fact that God is always in control and no matter how much I want control I can't get it. I've thought rather seriously about suicide and tried bulimia as a way to gain some control, but the fact is that none of it worked. My struggles to gain control always failed because ultimately God was in control.
If God had wanted you to die those time He would have. But it seems really clear to me that He still has something He wants done in your life. The cool thing about God is that even when we don't understand, especially when we don't understand, He can still work things together for good. I can't tell you exactly why your attempts haven't worked, but I want you to know that there is a reason and that the reason comes from God.

Well obviously you haven't planned it well nor executed your plans well.
Any how - it's not a good thing to do - to runaway from life.. You should fight to live for tomorrow - you never know what tomorrow holds for you - May be you could win a lottery, or meet a wonderful person to share the rest of your life with. You gotta live till tomorrow for that to happen.
Also it's a sin as per all religions !

probably because you want to be alive more then dead? maybe you're just really hurting and want someone to notice? to help? to care? I've attempted it once, because I was hurt and angry and thought "I'll get you, you're going to have to live with my death", but half way through my bottle, I got scared and said "you're not worth my dying over" Whenever I feel deeply hurt ... the thought crosses my mind, but I know I'm stronger and will work through difficulty and not quit. I know there is something great waiting for me ... you'll find it too. Good Luck

i dont understand why people even think of this....years ago i lost everything i had worked so hard for...i lost my house, my family, and my job...but last thing on my mind was suicide...i packed up my truck with my clothes and left....with no place to go...but i never gave up...and dont you either...no matter how bad life gets nothings worth dieing over...its taking me many years to get where i am now but i did it...it takes time...one day at a time....to heal...to think...to make a plan...set goals...and work for it...ive been through it all...drugs...alcohol...and even caught my wife with another man....oh the pain i went through....and i prayed for strength...and guidence...and i made it...im sitting with my kids now as i type and i get along with my x-wife very well...i dont have much but...i have my life and thats good enough for me...remember....life is a state of mind...it can be what ever you want to make it out to be...if you want to cry...cry.....if you want to harden your heart and make it stronger...then harden it...and your mind....you can do it...its up to you....but please dont ever think of dying....God has a plan for you...and someday it will happen...please take care....

Why would you want to commit suicide? Have you no curiosity? Don't you want to know what will happen tomorrow? Do you know what that will do to your relatives and loved ones? And don't you know what appears a croc of **** today might turn into a croc of gold tomorrow? Hang in there ... it really isn't that bad ... promise! :)

Try jumping off a cliff where there aint no 911 despatchers to send you the ambulance.

Because Jesus is trying to give you the chance from feeling His love for you. Darling, Jesus loves you ! Belive and trust Him !
Be strong and get rid of bad feelings and bad thoughts because of the life is worth it meanly when we have Jesus in our heart and in our mind...Don´t let it happens again and don´t miss the chance to feel the Jesus´s love for you.
