I think its is.People these days can have all kinds of surgery and
stuff to improve their looks and other genetic features but no one
has found an effective way to really improve a persons height.
Your hair, lips, nose, eyes, skin are all geneticly inherited from your
parents and you can get them changed. If you don't like your hair
color you can get it dyed another color,If you don't like your lips
youcan get surgery to make them fuller,If you don't like your nose
get rhinoplasty,For eyes you can wear contacts lens, and for skin
you can get a tan or get it bleached.I'm 19 years old and i'm 5'6
and alot of girls won't even go out with me bacause they say i'm
"too short".People who are not satisfied with their looks feel
imperfect and get their looks changed. So am i wrong for wanting
to be taller?

To be honest they have. But it is a very prolonged surgery that requires cutting the leg bones in two stretching them apart slightly and holding them apart until the bone grows in between the cuts. then they do the same thing over and over until the person is several inches taller. It takes several years to accomplish and terrible pain.

Guess you can want to be taller. Some people are very short. Do not think that height really matters in the long run. There have been some children with growth issues. They break bones in the legs and put on supports keeping the bone and inch or two apart. Then the bone grows to attach the 2 parts. There!! 2 inches of growth. I am sure there is much more too it.

YOU are not wrong in wanting to be taller.Im short also and have wished many times I was taller but I think a person should except the way their nose is shaped or thecolor of their eyes orhow thin their lips are.Thats the way God made you.Although I do dye my hair to cover up the gray I would never have cosmetic surgery.I guess what Im saying is except your height you cant change it also if a girl judges you by your height there isnt much to her whats on the inside is what counts.GOOD LUCK.

What I really think is a shame is that for some reason we all have started to think we need to redo ourselves to become "perfect" to meet someone else's idea of beauty.

What if we spent the time we devote to the external, on the internal? You're short. I am too. But I am choosing to be around people I call friends who are more interested in the special things inside of me than my height.

Internal beauty cannot be touched by time and can always grow into something more beautiful, without a scapel or lotion, or clothing.

I remember a lonnnng time ago. I saw this special where these russians were in space for an extended time. And do to their being no gravity SOMEHOW (I am not a scientist) Their bones becomes sort of separated. In a way where basically. They all grew 2 inches taller. This I remember from my memory. And this is no lie.
So When (its right around the corner) commercial space travel goes mainstream you can have a chance.

yes.. it is better of you just lern to be happy with yourself... but there is a way that you can have your legs altered to be taller.. but its an expensive procedure.. and risky.. i forget what its called exactly, but the process consists of breaking the bones in your legs and adding something to your legs to stretch them out... its really weird..

No it is not ashamed, if so it would be a shame not to come up with something to make people shorter

You're honestly better off trying to be happy with who you are, since your genetic are no fault of your own.
