A lot of people think that their religious freedom also means they have the right to try to force their religious beliefs on others.

I need to ask you a question, what is the cause for your aggression towards Christians? Did we hurt you a long time ago? Did you have a bad experience with a church? Did you have a family member or friend that hurt you who was a Christian? Do you think we are all Hypocrites? What?
I only ask because I want to refresh your mind about Christians. We don't claim to be perfect, we are all sinners. The church is full of sinners, not hypocrites. We struggle everyday with the same things you struggle with, only we have hope and a way to overcome it all. Christians have a very hard calling, we are responsible for reaching the lost of this world and telling them the truth. Now, we don't always do the best job at doing that, but we try. And we are going to try however we can, including answering questions on yahoo.
Also there are so many more founding fathers that WERE Christians, who prayed regularly, who worked in our government and who fought for our independence, many more than the 3 who you claim weren't.
I am mostly curious what your sincere questions are. What are the main reasons/questions/concerns that you have that keep you from Christianity? I would like to help answer those the best I can.

No---we really don't think we own the religion and spirituality section but when people direct questions to us---we feel inclined, obliged and honored to try to give an adequate response. I am not sure I understand the remarks about Paine, Hancock and Washington. There are enough published works in history books and in the Library of Congress to help anyone with an open mind understand that we (the United States) were founded on Christian principles and we were writing laws based on Biblical beliefs. I hope you don't mind me pointing that out. It sounds as if you are not one of those open minded individuals who can read what the historical documents indicate. Please do not think that this is a personal attack. It is NOT. I just want you to understand WHY we answer when we are asked and why we believe that this country was founded on Christian principles.

I don't know what you are talking about. I dont think I own anything, My job as a Christain is to tell people that Jesus loves them and to repent of there sins so they may be with our Lord in Heaven, and to explain how horriable Hell is.
