"Dear Mr. Raner:
I have received your letter of June 10th. I have never talked to a Jesuit priest in my life and am astonished by the audacity to tell such lies about me.
From the viewpoint of a Jesuit priest I am, of course, and have always been an atheist. Your counter-arguments seem to me very correct and could hardly be better formulated. It is always misleading to use anthropomorphical concepts in dealing with things outside the human sphere--childish analogies. We have to admire in humility the beautiful harmony of the structure of the world--as far as we can grasp it. And that is all. With best wishes, yours sincerely, Albert Einstein." (letter to Guy H. Raner, Jr., dated July 2, 1945)
Einstien is a perfect example of how Christianity has always tried to revise history to it's benefit no matter how blatant of a lie needs to be told! As the letter above indicates, Albert was getting very tired of Christians lying about his actual philosophy.

"Free will" in the religious context means the right to choose to believe or not believe, not the right to choose to be stupid or smart, that's a human condidtion. If you believe God put those ideas in Einsteins head, then that means every idea or thought you come up with must also be put there by God. In addition to that, if God puts the thoughts in our heads, and has given Satan the freedom to also put thoughts in our heads, then so what, we have the freewill to sort those thoughts out. God would of course want to put the most important thoughts in someones head that had a mind that could comprehend and do something with those thoughts, now wouldn't he? Sort of like if you want a soldier you go seek a soldier you don't go seek a two year old. Einstein was able to look past what he could see, feel, hear, taste or touch, look past the 'known' and into the realm of the 'unkown' and know that those were no more real or unreal than the things he could not see, feel, hear, taste or touch - that our human condition is a prison that keeps us trapped in our third dimensional world unable to comprehend anything beyond it, forcing our own ignorance upon ourselves of anything that is not within the grasp of our five senses. Or is this too deep for you?

i do not really know if he was a genius or not or if he made guesses and happened to guess right. Personally I say he was a very smart man but God didn't make him this way God created life it is up to us to become what we can. Einstein was well educated no doubt but no man is perfect and never will be. I would say he made his share of mistakes because that is a part of being human. Just because someone was smart does not mean everything he thinks of is correct nor should it be taken as such.

What does free will and an intelligence quota rating above 140 (genius) have to do with each other, other than that both are gifts?
Like all gifts, free will and a genius intellect can both be misused. What is your question?

We christians are always saying that God gives us free will is because he wants us to choose our own paths instead of creating absolute purity in every one of us. The two paths is one, accepting God and the second is to deny and reject him. If he created us sinless, whats the point of our lives on earth? We might as well be in heaven, right?
If everybody is forced to be pure, people will blame God for not giving us choices of our own. But if we get to choose, we'll see the light and the intentions of God. And for every wrong-doing, it'll be our fault and for every right thing we do, is because we were not forced, and only by this, God will see that we really love him. And we were not forced to.
God gives us special talents, each one of us, do you have a talent? I'm sure you do. That's cos God blessed you with that talent. You cannot say he blesses us unequally, but instead, hang on to his promise: "He loves everyone equally. From the world's most bad guy to the world's most holy saint."
God Bless You! =)
Remember, he loves you very much!

God gave him the gift of a high IQ. He used that gift to become a genius. God doesn't put thoughts in your head.
I wouldn't expect you to know how a high IQ works.
Why are you trying to beat up Christians with a dead genius?
Why not read the bible and challenge them with something they can defend?
I'm not much of a Christian myself but I do believe that people like you are seeking god and don't know it.

The University professor challenged his students with this question: "Did God create everything that exists?"
A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes sir", the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then God is evil."The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."
The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least is does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.
The young man's name -- Albert Einstein

much of the work in latter life with ol Albert never got anywhere because he could not get past his concept that God would not have things be perfect. The real physics of the day passed him by and he died, respected, but out of the loop in the physics of his day.
