like the beginnig.. we will never know cause i do not believe people can see that moment. at first the life on earth will no longer exist,then the planet world. end of the world must be a process. of course there is another alternative, after the end of the life in this earth, another kind of life might be born and we might be in the position of dinasours.

well a very sane man like u seem to be will throw a stone onto a rock, being hit out of the blue it will roll and hit a bigger rock, this rock will tumble into a lake. accidentally it hits a weak spot on the surface of the earth and a deep crack develops there. the molten stuff inside is oozed outside and finally the earth is covered with magma.
losing its equilibrium the earth is driven into an orbit closer to the sun and finally it collapses into the sun

either the nuclear war that will come out from the loss of petro. or from polutants over suffocating the population!
Then again a giant monster from Pluto could land and kill the earth and everything on it!
