There are a lot fjewish people in entertainment. News media not so much. This is because at the dawn of the film industry, New York was the center of theatrical entertainment, mostly populated by talented immigrant jews (who else but immigrantswould work that hard for so little money?). Then many of these jews, now doign well, began to move in film. Film became a hot commodity and the control of the industry was "falling" into jewish hands, so they were asked nicealy and not so nicely to vamoose.

Where could they go and not be bothered? West, youg man, where they could buy large acres of land for nothing that they could use for the next big thing: Westerns!!!!

So there oyu go, no consirpacy, no evil, just culture.

Just because some people allow thier religion to control and motivate all aspects of thier lives doesn't mean that others do the same.

Judaism has always been under scrutiny for it's beliefs, but it's probably one of the most understanding religions around. The Jewish religion doesn't force it's beliefs on others, or condemn others for having different opinions. While the rules for the religion can be strict depending on the sect (Conservative, Reform, Orthodox), never do they force beliefs or practices on non-Jews.

In the US, lots of people are of at least partial Jewish ancestry, as many Jews immigrated to this country throughout history. As early as the Inquisition in Spain, Jews were immigrating to the Americas. But those same people probably also have Irish, Dutch, German, French, Native American and/or Eastern European ancestors as well.

So in the sense, people who are Jewish by heridity control a lot of things. But heredity and religion are not necessarily realted. And certainly no Jews control the media in the conspiratorial sense you mean. There is no secret coalition of Jews out there trying to subvert people to thier way of thinking and control the masses. Honestly, they've got better things to do.

Such a question may better be asked of the Republicans and their ilk.
Not that don't like them, some of my friends are Republicans, though I'm happy to say my daughter is not married to one.
Hold on, what am I saying, I don't even have a daughter. Well, okay then I'm glad my wife is not married to one.
But your question sounds kind of funky. You got something against the Jews? The Jews are people just like the rest of us, and nobody chooses their ethnicity. The Republicans, on the other hand, choose their politics and policies, they are rude and ignorant by choice. (Yet the ones I know in this part of the country are only mildly rude and ignorant, and so I excuse them.)

Not in the collective sense that you describe. Yes, many people that are in charge of media in the US are secular Jews, but it isn't like some big conspiracy.

Nope. If they were, I think CNN would be a lot more sympathetic towards Israel's recent military actions, focusing their news pieces on fighting terrorism instead of a few civilian casualties.
