I have no idea what you are asking...unless....
If you are saying that Peter is representative of Roman Catholicism, and that Protestants who followed the Reformers out of the Roman church are Judas...
If that were the case, there are many arguments I could make about Peter not being the first pontiff of Rome, and place Gregory there instead. And it wasn't that the Reformers left the true church. The Roman church abandoned the authority of Scripture and allowed human tradition to supplant itself instead.
When the Reformers couldn't reform the church, they established others that would hold to the authority of Scripture.

Are you saying the Protestants should not have abandoned the Catholic church just because of a few bad apples or doctrines? I'm leaning towards agreeing with you.....Protestant or Catholic, though, doesn't guarantee anything. If you don't lead the life of Love that Christ preached, you aren't following His teachings.
