this is for the first time we will be renting villa , so we don't know what things to look for in a villa ...is safety a issue while renting villa ?

What do you mean by "renting a villa"? To live here? What's your definition of a "villa"?

Switzerland is very safe - there is some burglary, but very limited. If you don't really show your assets, even burglars would keep away - except perhaps some drug addicts in cities.

Anyway, there is nothing really to worry about.

BTW, I'm Swiss and in the property market (but don't have any villas to let).

interlaken's pretty safe. but better safe than sorry. since it's a villa u'd probably want a fence surrounding and a dog or two just in case. pls it'd be nice to take ur dogs out for walks in interlaken. gd luck with the villa.
