Hmm people who paint themselves as victims, see themselves as separate and exceptional....you are describing most human beings. They seem to be able to assimilate just fine...if assimilate is taken to mean become productive members of society. All the things you have said could be true of any nation that is in the middle east not just Israel. The Palestinians have not done what you could call a bang up job in building a nation.

Such foolish statements you make. Of course Israel wants to live in peace with their neighbors. The Arabs won't allow this, their one goal is to annihilate the Jewish state. In 1947 when Israel became a nation the United Nations set aside land for a Palestinian state in both Egypt and Syria. This land however was soon taken away from the Palestinian people. Not by Israel but by the governments of Egypt and Syria, and who do the Palestinians blame, Israel of course. Israel is a thriving independent state, more then capable of taken care of it's own citizens. How the heck can you make a statement such as " It's not Normal" What do you expect the Israel to do, sit back and let the Arab nations wipe them off the face of the world?

Gosh, as a Jew, I have to say that your question is phrased in such a biased way there is no possible reasonable answer.
I would turn it back to you:
How can Christians hope for eternal salvation? As perpetrators of the Inquisition, the Crusades, and the persercution and destruction of Native Americans, as colonists who have destroyed numerous native populations and cultures in the name of Jesus Christ, how can they possibly think that they can get into heaven?
Christians consider their religion so important and it is so culturally significant to them that they impose their holidays (Christmas and Easter) on the rest of the population - even those (Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc.) who do not celebrate these and are seriously inconvenienced by them.
A people who can not be honest about themselves, a people who constantly paint themselves as the victims (look at the recent attack against the Happy Holidays greeting versus Merry Christmas), a people who see themselves as separate and exceptional (only Christians can get into Heaven and are granted eternal salvation), are not like the rest of us.
Why is that?

You claim that the Jews are "[a] people who are not honest about themselves, a people who always paint themselves as victims, a people who see themselves as separate and exceptional [who] are not like the rest of us and they will be the first to tell you so."
You've got to be kidding me.
Chaim Potok once said, "I do not pretend to understand the mystery of human transformation, the moment when the response of a man to the world about him throws upon his mind a new and wondrous light concerning the nature of our species and binds him to a vision of the future to which he gives over his life..." Is that not honest? Is that not true?
Historically, the Jews have been very successful and productive members of society. They have no need to paint themselves as victims.
As for seeing themselves as separate and exceptional, remember the words of the great Jewish leader Golda Meir: "Don't be humble... you're not that great." Who doesn't see themselves as separate and exceptional, if only in the privacy of their own thoughts?
I think Israel is going to prove you wrong by being a stabilizing force in the Middle East over the course of the next century or so. In the meantime, try to get over your anti-Semitism, because it makes no sense.

ignoring the "Jew"ish generalization
I am curious where you're from, but it doesn't matter where you're from, every country has it's untold truths and unresolved lies. The only difference between nations is the way they choose to allow YOU to have YOUR freedom. In America we feel the most free because we can walk around every day with out being publicly executed for our beliefs, but if you watch the news you know that isn't the case for everyone here... being shot in the streets is normal for us.
All citizens and officials of all nations believe they've learned what not to do from other nations, and citizens have to believe their nation can do no wrong. Officials on the other hand know that no government is un-corrupt.
Jews are not alone in the wrong doing of their own people and the people who disagree with their beliefs. You are doing your race a disservice by being so bigoted and general and not opening your eyes to an entire world of people who suffer from the delusion that they are superior to people who think and react differently to life.

They declare they are; Jews declare they do no longer seem to be. relies upon the place you're coming from. it is a elementary guiding principle of Judaism which you won't be able to be a Jew mutually as additionally being a member of yet another faith. you would be an ex-Jew; a man or woman of Jewish blood or background; yet formally adopting yet another faith, for this reason, many times Protestant Evangelical Christianity, makes you a non-Jew from a non secular and an area point of view. Messianic Jews can evaluate themselves despite they please-it is a unfastened united states of america. No believing Jew regards them as Jewish...they are surely apostates--possibly nicely-meaning yet despite if apostates. Jackie Mason pronounced it ultimate in his lawsuit against Jews for Jesus who misappropriated his image in an advert: you won't be able to be A table AND A CHAIR.

I think that Israelis are continously harassed and terrorized by Islamic nations that surround them. Why is it so hard to accept that Israel does not share your faith? Why does everyone have to be a Muslim in the middle east? Why can't Israel just be left alone?
You refer to them not being normal...... What kind of a generalization is that? What is normal to you? A nation who hates? A nation who terrorizes others? A nation who is intolerant of anyone unlike themselves?
You are not only a racist, but you are extremely ignorant as well.

If the Anti-Christ actually exists, then it is the Jewish people themselves. The personification of the Devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew. Only a complete fool would believe these tormentors of all mankind to be the chosen people of God.

cant have a jewish nation? honey, open ur eyes. EVERY religion is violent (except maybe buddhist monks). Muslims attack others, Jews attack other, Christians attack others. They're people, they're not above mistakes and hate, and apparently, neither are u. Israelis (who do not include every Jew in the world) are defending themselves in Israel, just as other countries defend themselves. Stop being so baised

The Jew's are God's Chosen People, everything else is answered and understood once you accept this fact. God gave Cannin to the Jew, which is now modern Israel, The Palestinians should leave and goto Saudi Arabia or somewhere else and leave the Jew's alone.
