Im 16 and I had invisalign. They work faster than regular braces and sometimes cost less. At my orthodontist I had to pay everytime I broke a bracket and I ate stuff I wasnt suppose to eat so I broke them a lot...so mine were really cheaper than the metal because you didnt have to pay for an office visit. Its all included in the price he/she quotes you. At certain times they will have them discounted...Im from the US and mine were about $4000 because when I got them they had a special where they took off $1000 from the price...I dont know what that translates to in your currency. I had both metal braces and invisalign and I would choose invisalign if I were you.

You should talk to an orthodontist, if there is one in your area, rather than just a dentist. Usually they will set up a free consultation appointment to give you the information that you need. It seems that most of the orthodontists in my state are jumping on the bandwagon with this but I think they're really supposed to have special training. Invisiline treatment is more expensive than standard braces and doesn't work for some conditions.

I have heard of these braces. I read in a paper a year or so ago that braces were no longer free except in very extreme cases. Braces are usually just a cosmetic thing and the NHS can no longer justify the cost. You will need your dentist to refer you to an orthodontist, where you can discuss the options.

Good Luck!

You can expect an invisalign treatment to be anywhere between $5000 and $8000.

They may not do it for you if you are still growing. If you're 16 and female, you are probably done growing or close to it. If you are 16 and male, you are likely far from done.

Orthodontists and dentists who are Invisalign certified can do the treatment, but you should have a consultation with an orthodontist to check the bite and other things. Orthodontists are much better trained to treat orthodontic cases than general dentists.

if you do it under NHS, it shouldnt cost you a penny. never realy heard about 'invisiline braces but if its a thing you can do from an orthodontics and if you are under 16 you get the complete treatment for free thats what i did when i was at your age.
