Try the grocery store. Diabetics need to watch the carbs. They don't have to eat special, they just have to eat right.

Diabetics need products that are extremely low in/free of sugar and to limit their amounts of refined carbs. It usually doesn't require going to a special store--many stores have products that are sugar-free.

Be careful, though...some products that claim to be sugar-free can actually raise blood sugar anyway. Make sure the person tests his or her blood sugar after consuming "sugar-free" candy!

I am diabetic and have never had to go to any special stores.
We can eat fruit, vegetables, tinned products, fish, meats, and so on, so why on earth should we shop anywhere different than normal people. And everywhere you look you see diet pops and colas these days, so again there is no need to shop anywhere different.

you can shop most anywhere for someone diabetic, just don't buy sweets or things loaded with sugar. buy Sugar FREE preserves/jams, sugar FREE maple syrup, sugar FREE candies, et al. when you go out to eat, ask the waitress/waiter if the dish has sugar...and how much. that's we do for my father in law.
