I like to think of God as being unisex or more masculine than anything. However, it won't surprise me at all if once I die God turns out to be something I least expected. (If there is life after death) I don't think God has sex though, imagine the mess and how many babies he'd have running around in Heaven. The jealous women fighting over him, child support, and the drama.. nah, I doubt God does the dirty. Now Jesus, Jesus I'm hoping is a leather wearing freak with a whip who has enough time for me.
*thinks Jesus is a hottie and wouldn't mind praying on all fours to him*
(somewhere out there someone just spit coke all over their Bible or fainted out of their chair and hit the floor)

I'm not offended by the question and I don't hate atheists.
I don't believe that God has a need for sex but I do believe He portrays Himself as a male. He did create Adam first, as we believe, and til this very day, male is the protector and the more dominant one. I even believe that even though God loves everyone equal, the male is the image made a lot like Him which puts male in His favor and given permission of authority to rule or be in charge of.

Asked numerous times and answered NO
Spirit creatures are referred to as male but they don't have flesh and blood bodies. So there sex is doesn't matter.
God made adam and Eve to populated the earth and have two people to raise a child. part of each one. It was a great plan
But needed two different sexes to do that.
So for the first time a female was created before that the spirit sons were called just that sons. So Eve was the first one of her kind. Probably anywere in the universe

I don't have an opinion, because I believe God is above that. (But if I must use a pronoun, it's more fun to use she)
But I love seeing people freak out about this question, HEHEHE, thanks.
Added: Oh, just an interesting point of trivia for people who get uptight about God and sex. Medieval Christian mystics often experienced a union with God in their meditations, and their descriptions had a sexual, orgasmic quality to them.
And to "inkedfanatasy", I just wanted to say "WOW". (I almost spit my coffee all over my computer screen)

2 very different questions.
For the first, the main reason God is referred to as "He" is because most languages do not have a gender neutral pro noun.
Also, most religious writings were consolidated by males who wanted to have the power.
As for the second, what do you think the sound of thunder is? Just kidding, everyone knows ot is the sound of Bigfoot snoring
