If "mutt" is a breed - there are more "mutts" mixed dogs in the world than any other kind... by far. On more of a pure bread line - Labs are the "most" dog....

Labs are at the top of the list according to the AKC.
Did you know that in May of 2006 alone, AKC registered 10,418 labs and 4,125 litters???????? The next closest is GSD with 3,903 dog registered in May 2006 and 1,508 litters!!!! I would say that Labs are the most popular breed!!!!!
I have no idea how you would prove the amount of "mutts" that there are.

If "mutt" is a breed they may be the most popular.I've had a few good "mutts",and 1 bad one.
For a pure bred , i'd have to say a Labrador retreiver.

Judging from my visits to the Doggy Park, it's the Lab. I also believe I heard that while watching the Eukanuba 2006 Dog Show.

mutt but since it isn't considered a breed then it would have to be my favorite. labs. i have one and he is so cool. there are 4 labs on my block only. imagine the usa? i say labs.
