How loud would a bel be?

Since humans hear logarithmicly, sound uses a logarithmic scale. So 2 dB is actually 10 times louder than 1 dB.

A decibel is how we measure our hearing,
normal speech being 75 to 80 decibels

A decibel is one tenth of a Bel.

0dB(A) is the quietest sound that one can perceive. There are figures quoted for its exact physical value but that won't help you anyway.

its a way to measure. so its hard to say how loud it would be.
but its 1/10th of a bell believe
