I have only met guys that just got out of jail or guys that should be in jail. I have little time for bar hopping.Its frustrating!

Online dating sites do work. It just depends on which one your using. Some are better than others. Don't let the fact that some, for lack of a better term, losers are out there deter you from using them. You still have to go through the hassle of weeding out the wrong ones. But I personally have met some very nice people on dating sites. Granted, it may not be the best way to meet people, but it does beat the bar scene. Just be cautious about giving out your personal information. Make sure you spend a lot of time talking to them and feeling them out before you decide to meet or give them your personal e-mail. Eventually, you will find someone that you like,and maybe even someone you can spend the rest of your life with. I wish you well in your search, and don't give up. The right guy is out there too looking for you as well.

Its more frustrating for a guy I think. I get TONS of winks!!...From girls in russia. Basically my inbox includes nothing but fake profiles. Like I said they are from russia or they are nigerian scams. They are sooooo easy to spot I wish I could work at a dating site and find fake profiles for a living. Id make a bunch :)

Online dating sites can work..I met my wife on one! But, as you know, I think a lot of them are crawling with any kind of bug that you can imagine! lol There are some truly genuine men out there, you just have to know which rock to look under.

Haha, well they DO work.. for desperate people who're okay with meeting ex-cons.
Pick up a hobby that you like that has weekly or monthly meetings with other enthusiasts. That way at least if they're insane, you two will still have a common interest.

they are pretty much just perverts same with chat lines once i was bored so i desided to call this chat line and i started tlking to him and so i told him i was 18 teen when really i was about 13 teen and he kept asking me where i lived could we meet. and he kept asking me if i was really any younger then i was saying i was well he asked me that a lot and so i was like i am 16 teen then he would ask again and finally i said i was 14teen he said ok . and he was fine with that turns out he was 29 and was fine with the fact that i was 14teen. well really i was 13 teen then but i am 14 teen now. so you tell me do you think he was a pervet???

I did the yahoo personals years ago and i met some really nice guys but also married men, or men way to old or just jerks that wanted one thing...You just need to weed out the crap and use your best judgement...This is the internet and you need to be careful...Other then that have fun with it

i think they can work if you use ones with good accreditation--bottom line, you just have to be careful and just you best judgment.
