Is there any Verse in the Bible like this one below?

"Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, The Self-subsisting, Supporter of all. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is thee can intercede in His presence except as He permiteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory)." (Quran S.2:255).

Remember Allah = God and God = Allah!

There is no mention of "Allah" in the Bible. The Bible is the true word of the one TRUE GOD!

This is a beautiful passage from the Quran about God (Allah).

I can't think of any verses that are closely identical to this one. Here are a few that remind me of the one you are quoting:

Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Psalm 121:3-4

and a beautiful section on the Bible in Job 38 and 39 where God speaks of his creative energy and protective care --it is long so I will just paste a link: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=JOB%2038&version=31;

I don't know the answer to your question, because it's been a while since I've read the bible in full, but I think I understand what you're asking. Are there so many similarities, or so many differences? I don't think there are nearly enough people who have read the many books of the religions, or researched the religions enough. We hear all about the Muslim extremists, but not about the beliefs of the Muslim family man at home with his wife. How much do most of us REALLY know about the differences that these religions are teaching in the day to day lives of their followers. I know I for one have many questions about different religions, and spirituality.

Not collectively no. The Quran is very humile to God's Glory, and praises God an infinite amount of times. I've always liked that about the Quran.

This was written several centuries before the passage you quoted.

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills--
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip--
he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you--
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm--
he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

""he heavens and on earth. Who is thee can intercede in His presence except as He permiteth? He knoweth ""

HE HE He,ha ha ha! knoweth, permiteth!

The old unholy quaran is in Shakespearean English??

My Favorite is Qurán 9:5>>""Fight and slay the pegans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem""

That Q sure is a book of love and PEACE!

I am not too sure but there was written a piece of music by Haydn I believe (part of a larger choral work) that part of the words are. "He watches over Israel slumbers not nor sleeps"....

Refering to the God of the Bible who always has his eyes on his people.

btw.. thanks jimmy... thats what I was thinking of
